We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Senior Engineer with expertise in Checkpoint Firewall and Zscaler technologies (ZPA/ZIA).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network security solutions to protect organizational assets and ensure compliance with security standards.

This role requires a deep understanding of network security protocols, tools, and best practices, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.

Responsibilities :

- Define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals.

- Document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations.

- Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, with a focus on Checkpoint Firewall and Zscaler technologies (ZPA/ZIA).

- Configure, monitor, and optimize Checkpoint Firewall policies and rules to ensure secure and efficient network operations.

- Deploy and manage Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) solutions to enhance secure remote access and internet security.

- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure the integrity of network systems.

- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure network architecture and configurations.

- Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

- Stay updated on emerging security technologies, threats, and industry trends.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e. g., ISO 27001 NIST, GDPR).

Requirements :

- Experience in network security engineering or a related role.

- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc. ) and security technologies.

- Hands-on experience with Checkpoint Firewall, including policy configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.

- Proficiency in Zscaler technologies (ZPA/ZIA), including deployment, management, and monitoring.

- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and implementation, particularly with Zscaler solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator/Expert (CCSA/CCSE) or equivalent.

- Zscaler certifications (e. g., Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional

Additional Information :

- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Security Operations.

- A 15-year full-time education is required.
