We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, automating, and maintaining complex data center and global backbone networks. You will also contribute to infrastructure automation and network observability across enterprise-scale environments. This is a hands-on, technical role suited for professionals who are passionate about scalable networking, automation, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage robust, scalable, and secure data center and global backbone networks.

- Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2/Layer 3 network protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VXLAN, and LACP.

- Work with multi-vendor network infrastructure including Juniper (MX, QFX, EX, SRX), Arista, Nokia, and Ciena hardware.

- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and network automation using tools like SaltStack, Ansible, and Chef.

- Automate network provisioning and configuration using Python, Go, or Java.

- Monitor and maintain network performance using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to align network services with business objectives.

- Manage and maintain version control using Git and support multi-branch development workflows.

- Document network designs, standards, and operational processes.

- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in network design and operations.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience : Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, preferably in large-scale enterprise or data center environments.

- Proven expertise in designing and troubleshooting Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VXLAN.

- Strong hands-on experience with :

1. Automation tools : SaltStack (preferred), Ansible, Chef

2. Programming languages : Python, Go (preferred), Java

3. Version control : Git (multi-branch development)

4. Observability platforms : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack

- Solid experience working with Linux-based systems and network functions.

- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), virtualization technologies, and web infrastructure.

- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize large-scale, distributed network environments.
