Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to configure, monitor, and maintain remote network infrastructure for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with data center networking, routing protocols, and network security, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal network performance, resolving routing issues, implementing security best practices, and supporting critical network operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure, monitor, and maintain remote network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, WAPs, and VPN solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues such as internet routing problems, latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues.

- Install, configure, maintain, and support all network hardware and software components.

- Perform regular security checks and ensure compliance with network security standards.

- Proactively monitor and analyze hardware/software performance using monitoring tools and take necessary actions such as upgrades or optimization.

- Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and VPNs for secure and efficient performance.

- Utilize network monitoring tools/platforms such as syslog, Zabbix, and perform updates as required.

- Develop and maintain network policies covering access control, security measures, system backups, and disaster recovery procedures.

- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end users as needed.

- Collaborate with peers and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve service-impacting issues.

- Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and operational procedures.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Minimum 5- 6 years of hands-on experience in data center networking.

- Active Cisco CCNP or CCNA certification is mandatory (CCNP preferred).

- Strong foundational understanding of BGP and other key data center networking technologies.

- Experience with monitoring and management systems such as syslog, Zabbix, etc.

- Preferred experience in scripting languages such as Perl, PHP, or Shell Scripting.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to new technologies.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, customers, and vendors.

- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
