Job Overview :

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing the companys IT infrastructure. This role requires hands-on expertise in network administration, Windows environments, firewalls (Sophos), cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure network reliability, enforce IT security policies, and drive continuous improvements across systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and secure Windows Server, Active Directory, and Hyper-V environments.

- Configure, maintain, and monitor network infrastructure, firewalls (Sophos preferred), antivirus, and DLP systems.

- Monitor, detect, and respond to network and security incidents in coordination with the Security Operations Center (SOC).

- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SEBI CSCRF, and other relevant regulatory standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Collaborate with vendors and maintain accurate IT hardware and software inventory.

- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and assist with penetration testing initiatives.

- Implement and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and compliance audit materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in network infrastructure management and cybersecurity.

- Hands-on expertise with :

1. Sophos Firewalls configuration and monitoring

2. Active Directory administration and Hyper-V replication

3. Antivirus management and Network Switches

- Knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) methodologies.

- Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and compliance frameworks.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage incident response efficiently.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
