Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .Net Developer to join a dedicated Vulnerability Remediation POD focused on reducing Critical and High security vulnerabilities across enterprise applications. The role will work closely with Security, Architecture, QA, and Application Teams to analyze, prioritize, remediate, validate, and close security findings while ensuring minimal impact to ongoing business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Use AI first model for delivery.

- Analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities identified through vulnerability scanning tools such as Snyk, Veracode, Checkmarx, SonarQube, or equivalent.

- Perform root cause analysis and impact assessment of application security findings.

- Upgrade vulnerable .NET frameworks, NuGet packages, and third-party libraries.

- Develop and validate code fixes for Critical and High severity vulnerabilities.

- Collaborate with application architects, technical leads, and security teams to implement remediation strategies.

- Participate in vulnerability triage, prioritization, sprint planning, and remediation tracking.

- Create and review Pull Requests while adhering to enterprise coding standards.

- Support application modernization efforts to address legacy technology risks.

- Document remediation plans, technical designs, testing evidence, and implementation details.

- Work closely with QA teams to ensure comprehensive validation and successful deployment.

- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to improve remediation efficiency.

Tech Stack:

- C#, .NET Framework 4.x, .NET Core / .NET 6/7/8, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server, LINQ, RESTful Services.

Security & DevOps:

- Secure Coding, OWASP Top 10, Vulnerability Assessment, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS.

Required Experience:

- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in .NET application development.

- Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core modernization initiatives.

- Experience remediating application security vulnerabilities.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.

Success Measures:

- Critical and High vulnerabilities remediated within SLA.

- Reduction in application vulnerability backlog.

- High-quality fixes with minimal production incidents or regressions.
