Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using .NET Core.

- Develop efficient data models, queries, and database solutions using PostgreSQL.

- Build and integrate event-driven architectures using Azure Event Hub (Kafka).

- Work with Azure Service Bus for messaging and Pub/Sub-based communication.

- Design scalable and reliable backend APIs and services.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application performance and production issues.

AI-Driven Development :

- Leverage AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate software development.

- Apply prompt engineering techniques to generate, review, refine, and optimize code.

- Integrate AI-assisted practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and optimization.

- Critically evaluate AI-generated code for:

1. Quality and correctness

2. Performance

3. Security

4. Maintainability

5. Scalability

- Identify opportunities to incorporate AI into engineering workflows and improve developer productivity.

Quality, Performance & Optimization :

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

- Identify bottlenecks and implement appropriate performance improvements.

- Contribute to architecture and design decisions for scalable backend systems.

- Ensure clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 - 10 years of experience in software development with strong hands-on expertise in .NET / .NET Core.

- Strong backend development experience using C# and .NET Core.

- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including data modelling and query optimization.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Event Hub / Kafka.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus and Pub/Sub messaging.

- Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.

- Experience with API development and backend system integration.

- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.

- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent tools.

- Understanding of prompt engineering and AI-assisted software development.

- Strong debugging, performance-tuning, and problem-solving skills.
