Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MS Access Developer to lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of complex MS Access applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Access, VBA, and relational database design, along with the ability to interface with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust MS Access applications using VBA, SQL, and macros.

- Optimize and refactor legacy Access databases for better performance and maintainability.

- Integrate Access applications with other data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint).

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional database solutions.

- Develop reports, queries, forms, and dashboards as per user requirements.

- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and bug fixes.

- Mentor junior developers and enforce coding best practices.

- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Access development.

- Expertise in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), SQL, and Access Macros.

- Strong understanding of relational database design and normalization.

- Experience with Access-to-SQL migration or integration is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with Microsoft 365 / Access Runtime Environments.

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

- Exposure to other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).

- Prior experience in a banking & finance environment (domain-specific knowledge).

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
