About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Mobile QA Engineer with 8 - 10+ years of experience to own testing across Android and iOS applications. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in mobile automation, API testing, exploratory testing, and end-to-end integration testing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own mobile QA lifecycle from test planning and execution to regression, release validation, and production checks.

- Perform functional, exploratory, integration, compatibility, accessibility, and end-to-end testing across Android and iOS.

- Develop and maintain Appium-based mobile automation and integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.

- Perform REST API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.

- Test mobile-specific scenarios including permissions, push notifications, deep links, app upgrades, background/foreground behavior, and network interruptions.

- Investigate crashes, device logs, network issues, automation failures, and application defects.

- Manage defect lifecycle, participate in triage, and provide clear release-readiness and QA sign-off.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, QA, and vendor teams to ensure product quality.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 8 - 10+ years of QA / Software Testing experience, with strong mobile testing experience.

- Hands-on experience with Android & iOS testing on real devices, emulators, and simulators.

- Strong Appium automation experience.

- Proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript / TypeScript / Kotlin.

- Strong API testing experience.

- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test/defect management tools.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills using logs, crash reports, and network inspection.

Preferred :

- Experience testing AI/GenAI or conversational applications.

- Experience with BrowserStack or similar cloud device platforms.

- Exposure to performance, security, and accessibility testing.

- Experience with English/Arabic and RTL testing.
