Senior Mobile QA Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mobile QA Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in manual and automated testing, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience working in agile development environments. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases consistently.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for mobile apps (iOS & Android).

- Define testing scope, timelines, and deliverables for each release cycle. Identify testing requirements and dependencies in collaboration with development and product teams.

- Perform functional, regression, usability, UI/UX, smoke, and exploratory testing for mobile applications.

- Validate app behavior across different OS versions, screen sizes, and device types.

- Conduct API testing for mobile backend services.

- Ensure optimal app performance, responsiveness, and stability under varying load conditions.

- Design, develop, and maintain mobile test automation scripts using frameworks like: Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox (as applicable).

- Set up automation pipelines and ensure automation coverage for all critical flows.

- Execute automated tests as part of CI/CD cycle and report failures.

- Identify, report, and track defects using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

- Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

- Prioritize defects based on severity, impact, and business needs.

- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

- Continuously improve test processes and introduce QA innovations

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong experience in testing mobile apps (native, hybrid, or cross-platform).

- Hands-on experience with Appium or similar mobile automation tools.

- Experience in Android Studio, Xcode, and real device testing.

- Strong knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, etc.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitrise, etc.).

- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

- Understanding of performance testing and tools such as JMeter or Firebase Performance Monitoring.

- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus.

Educational Qualifications :
