We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Tester to lead QA efforts for our Android and iOS applications. You will design test strategies, drive both manual and automated testing, and partner closely with development teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 5+ years in mobile application testing, including test automation.

- Education : Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or a related field.

- Testing : Strong experience in manual and automated testing (functional, regression, performance, and security).

- Automation Tools : Proficiency with Appium, Espresso, and/or XCUITest; scripting in Java/Kotlin/Python.

- API Testing : Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured.

- Defect Management : Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, or similar).

- Process : Solid understanding of the mobile app release cycle, device fragmentation, and CI/CD-integrated testing.

- Soft Skills : Attention to detail, analytical thinking, mentoring, and communication.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive the overall test strategy and plans for Android and iOS applications.

- Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases across functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Build and maintain automated test suites using Appium, Espresso, and/or XCUITest.

- Perform API testing and validate backend integrations.

- Log, track, and prioritise defects; work closely with developers to resolve issues.

- Set up and maintain testing within CI/CD pipelines.

- Mentor junior testers and review their test cases and results.

- Report on quality metrics and release readiness to stakeholders.
