Senior ML / AI Engineer (LLMs, RAG, Python) - Onsite - In person mandatory

With 5- 8 yrs experience in Python, LLMs & RAG. Build document understanding and policy extraction systems for HR/payroll. Vector DBs, production ML & AI evaluation required.

Role Overview :

Build and operate AI services for document understanding, RAG, and policy extraction that support HR and payroll decisions. Work closely with backend and product teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build data pipelines for laws, HR policies & company documents

- Design and run RAG pipelines using LLMs and vector databases

- Create prompts and tools to extract structured rules from text

- Integrate AI outputs with backend APIs and rule engines

- Evaluate AI quality, improve prompts/retrieval & track metrics

- Document work and share best practices

Must-Have Skills :

- 5- 8 years of ML / AI engineering experience

- Strong Python skills

- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI or similar)

- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, etc.)

- Experience with RAG / LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)

- Experience deploying ML/AI systems to production

- Strong understanding of AI evaluation & monitoring

Good to Have :

- NLP or information retrieval background

- Legal tech, HR tech or compliance systems experience

- Human-in-the-loop workflows & confidence routing

- Rule engines or policy-as-code frameworks
