Senior MERN Stack Developer

Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior MERN Stack Developer (L3) to design and deliver scalable software solutions. You will lead the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, and build highly scalable, event-driven components for our real-time platform. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-grade applications, solve complex industry problems, and mentor a team of engineers.

Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements and provide accurate estimations.

- Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code using the latest tools and technologies.

- Review and approve code from junior developers, ensuring best practices are followed.

- Mentor and guide junior team members to achieve engineering goals.

- Own end-to-end product features and drive their successful delivery.

- Conduct technical POCs and recommend tools and technologies to enhance the platform.

- Translate business designs into scalable technical designs.

- Design and develop highly scalable SaaS solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors and internal departments.

- Provide application support, manage changes, and ensure smooth maintenance.

- Effectively communicate project timelines, status updates, and deliverables.

- Develop microservices for business components in an Agile environment.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, building web-based and microservice-based applications.

- Strong expertise in Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and React.js .

- Experience with Postgres, TypeScript, NestJS, Go Programming, and CoffeeScript is a plus.

- Hands-on experience with RESTful web services and microservice development.

- Proficiency in cloud technologies, especially AWS (serverless, S3 managed DBs, distributed architecture).

- Strong knowledge of Terraform, GraphQL, and AWS servicesSolid understanding of system design and architecture.

- Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with version control tools like GitHub and build tools like NPM, Yarn.

- Experience in the logistics and supply chain domain is a plus.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
