Job Purpose :

The Senior Master Data Migration & Integration Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and validating SAP S/4HANA data migration activities (primarily master data, with support for related objects) and for supporting integrations that create/update/delete master data in S/4HANA through standard interfaces (API/BAPI/IDoc/OData). This role brings hands-on expertise in SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM), repeatable error handling, and strong data validation/ETL practices for ECC conversions and multi-ERP landscapes. This role aligns with Sonnys broader master data governance focus and migration program needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end master data migration cycles (scope, mapping, extracts, transformation, mock loads, cutover, and hypercare).

- Assess data quality issues and drive cleansing and enrichment efforts prior to migration.

- Collaborate with functional leads (MM/SD/PP/QM/EWM/FI/CO), Basis, ABAP, and Integration teams to align migration design with business process and configuration.

- Support the establishment of long term data governance processes post go live.

- Develop test scenarios and scripts for data validation during mock conversions and UAT.

- Use and/or govern legacy and supplemental tools where needed (LSMW, Winshuttle, mass maintenance) and define when to retire them in favor of standard S/4 approaches.

- Perform reconciliation, data profiling, and error analysis to ensure data integrity.

- Own error triage : root-cause patterns, defect tracking, fix-forward vs. reload decisions, and prevention controls for repeat issues.

- Maintain migration-related documentation, including mapping files, data dictionaries, and load logs.

- Provide post migration support to ensure stable master data operations.

Qualifications :

Required :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP data migration, including multiple full-cycle S/4HANA or ECC-to-S/4HANA implementations.

- Deep expertise in SAP master data structures and integration points across core modules.

- Advanced proficiency with SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, or equivalent ETL platforms.

- Proven ability to lead large-scale data migration workstreams in complex, global environments.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.

- Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical mapping and transformation logic.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

Preferred :

- Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or automation tools.

- Industry experience in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or related fields.
