Senior Manager QA

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for quality product delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Lead the planning, design, preparation, review, execution, and monitoring of various testing phases, including Functional (positive and negative), Database, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Performance (Load and Stress), and UI Responsive tests.

- Drive the automation of regression and performance tests, ensuring efficiency and accuracy through test scripts and automated frameworks.

- Oversee defect and bug management processes, ensuring timely reporting and resolution to maintain product quality.

- Validate and reproduce production bugs/incidents, providing clear documentation and solutions to development teams.

- Conduct incident trend analysis, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement actionable improvements for process optimization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality processes into development workflows.

Education & Experience :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science (B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech) or MCA.

- A minimum of 15+ years of experience in software testing, with both manual and automation testing expertise.

- At least 5+ years of experience in managing software testing projects, with previous experience as a QA Manager or Test Architect.

Skills & Competencies :

- SDLC & STLC : Strong knowledge of Software Development and Testing Life Cycles, including Agile methodologies.

- Testing Expertise : Proficient in various testing techniques (Functional, Regression, Performance, Security, UI Responsive).

- Automation : Experience with automation and performance testing tools (Selenium, LoadRunner, JMeter).

- Leadership : Proven ability to manage and mentor QA teams of 20+ members.

- Analysis : Skilled in root cause analysis (RCA) and incident trend analysis.

- Frameworks : Knowledge of BDD, CI/CD processes, and data-driven testing frameworks.

- Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with programming (Core Java), databases (SQL, Oracle), and test management tools (JIRA).

- Cross-Browser Testing : Expertise in parallel test execution using Selenium WebDriver and related tools.
