Summary :

- As a Senior Manager, your role will involve the maintenance and enhancement of FCSS application, ensure optimal performance while delivering technical support to users.

You will address and resolve issues, implement effective solutions, and work alongside cross-functional teams to enhance our software applications.

- Understanding of applications technical and functional speci?cations in detail.

- Assess existing products, propose areas of improvement including issues and reports.

- Work with support team members across different teams and IT vendors.

- Integrate the updated speci?cations into the systems architecture and ensure compatibility of systems and software designs.

- Implementation of deliverables.

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

- Good written and verbal communication skills are must for this position.

- Manage effective stakeholder communication.

Experience :

- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in application support or similar positions.

- A solid comprehension of application architectures and databases is essential, with a preference for PostgreSQL expertise.

- Candidates should possess proficiency in Linux, Java, MQ, and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail are necessary.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital, along with the capacity to collaborate effectively.

Knowledge :

- Understanding of operating systems and languages like Linux / Java and its command line interfaces and software applications is crucial for effectively troubleshooting and maintaining applications.

- Strong understanding of application architecture is necessary.

- Experience with database management and data analysis tools is beneficial for handling and interpreting application-related data.

- Knowledge for IBM MQ : (Mandatory)

- Experience with IBM MQ : Familiarity with IBM MQ installation, configuration, and administration.

- MQ Queue Management : Ability to create and manage queues, topics, channels, and listeners in MQ.

- Message Handling : Understanding of message queuing principles, including message persistence, transactions, and error handling.

- Strong analytical abilities are essential for identifying and resolving issues that may affect application performance or efficiency.

- Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively is vital for managing multiple issues and projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Proficient communication skills are important for engaging with team members, IT professionals, and users, facilitating clear explanations of technical concepts.

- Strong customer service skills are required to address user inquiries promptly and effectively.

- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential for partnering with other engineers and IT professionals to provide optimal application support.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, Linux) to troubleshoot and support applications.

- Familiarity with languages commonly used in application development (e.g. , Java, JavaScript) to understand code behavior and assist in debugging.

- Experience with IBM MQ interfaces - mandatory

- Understanding of SQL and database management systems (e.g. , Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for querying and troubleshooting datarelated issues.

- Familiarity with MS Office tools like (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Mandatory
