Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - IT (Analytics & BI) to lead and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of software application development and Business Intelligence solutions.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the organization's data strategy, managing technical teams, and translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and impactful analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of enterprise software applications and BI solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technology standards.

- Oversee the architecture, design, deployment, and maintenance of BI platforms, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to enable data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

- Manage, mentor, and build high-performing teams of software developers, BI analysts, and technical leads, managing performance and career growth.

- Collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate technical vision, and deliver effective data solutions.

- Evaluate emerging BI trends, cloud solutions, and technologies to drive continuous improvement; institute best practices across software development, testing, deployment, and documentation.

- Partner with data engineering, IT operations, and core business units to ensure seamless system integration, maximum performance, high availability, and platform security.

- Handle vendor relationships, third-party software contracts, budget planning, forecasting, and resource allocation for analytics and software projects.

- Establish and monitor team KPIs, SLAs, and solution metrics to ensure operational excellence.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- 15+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in software application development and Business Intelligence delivery, with a proven track record in team leadership.

- Deep experience in BI tools and platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar tools.

- Strong experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling, and database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).

- Solid understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), alongside familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and executive-level communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business domains.

- Proven capability in portfolio management, vendor contract negotiations, and budget oversight.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Certified ScrumMaster) or relevant BI platform certifications.

- Hands-on experience or exposure to Big Data technologies and advanced predictive/prescriptive analytics.
