We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with a minimum of 6 years of experience to join our team.

This role requires expertise in Mainframe development with a specialization in Pacbase.

The position offers a hybrid work model in Hyderabad and Chennai.

For candidates in other states, a remote arrangement is available.

Job Summary :

The ideal candidate is a senior-level individual who can independently perform development, testing, and support functions.

You will be responsible for a range of tasks, from coding and testing to implementation and ongoing support of our mainframe systems.

Essential Job Functions & Principal Accountabilities :

- Mainframe Development : Utilize strong skills in MVS Cobol, JCL, and DB2 to develop and maintain mainframe applications.

- Pacbase Expertise : Leverage extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Pacbase for system development and maintenance.

- Coding & Testing : Write clean, efficient code and perform thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.

- Stored Procedures : Apply strong knowledge of Stored Procedures to optimize database interactions.

- System Interfaces : Understand and work with various interface systems to ensure seamless data flow.

- Implementation & Support : Lead and participate in system implementations and provide ongoing support.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation of system processes and designs.

- Independent Management : Manage assignments and tasks independently, ensuring timely completion.

- On-Call Support : Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to resolve critical issues outside of normal business hours.

Minimum Skills & Qualification Requirements :

- Experience : A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Mainframe developer.

- IT Experience : At least 8 years of overall IT-related work experience, with a focus on resolving user technology issues.

- Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of MVS Cobol, JCL, DB2, and Pacbase is mandatory.

- Educational Qualification : A minimum of 4 years of educational qualification (e.g., Bachelor's degree).

- Flexibility : Willingness and ability to work outside of normal business hours to complete implementations and resolve critical issues.

- General Skills : Working knowledge of Microsoft and PC fundamentals.

- On-Call : Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule
