Senior Linux System Engineer - RHEL/Ubuntu

Key Job Requirements & Responsibilities :

- Virtualization & Infrastructure : Design, deploy, and maintain Proxmox VE clusters, Ceph storage, ZFS, and High Availability (HA) failover systems.

- Automation & Scripting : Develop scripts using Python and Bash for automating Proxmox API, virtual machine provisioning, and cloud-init templates.

- DevOps Tools : Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to manage Linux-based environments.

- Networking & Security : Configure VLANs, bonding, OPNsense/firewalls, and secure Proxmox environments.

- Cloud & Containers : Integrate Proxmox with Kubernetes (K8s) or public cloud services (AWS/Azure) for hybrid infrastructure management.

Typical Qualifications :

Experience : 5- 10 years in System Administration, specifically Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and virtualization. Vmware Migration to Proxmox VE / Experience Mandatory

Tools : Proxmox VE, Ceph, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools.

Background : Solid knowledge of networking, data center operations, and disaster recovery
