We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Network Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and management of high-performance on-premise and hybrid data center environments. This is a senior-level individual contributor role focused on ensuring infrastructure scalability, reliability, and security across global systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Linux systems, virtualization, networking, SAN/NAS storage, and automation tools. You will mentor junior team members, contribute to architecture discussions, and work closely with DevOps, Security, and Cloud teams to enhance enterprise-grade infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain Linux server infrastructure (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL) across data centers and hybrid environments.

- Architect and manage complex network setups involving VLANs, routing, firewalls, and VPNs for secure, high-availability systems.

- Oversee virtualization platforms (Proxmox, VMware, KVM), SAN/NAS storage, and disaster recovery solutions.

- Deploy and administer enterprise firewalls (FortiGate, Cisco ASA, pfSense, Palo Alto), ensuring compliance and network security.

- Automate configuration, deployment, and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and shell scripting.

- Optimize infrastructure performance and scalability using HAProxy, Nginx, and modern load balancing techniques.

- Lead system hardening initiatives, monitoring and incident response setups (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for performance optimization, troubleshooting, and new technology rollouts.

- Mentor and guide junior administrators on Linux and networking best practices.

Requirements :

- 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Linux systems administration and enterprise networking.

- Proven expertise in data center infrastructure design, virtualization, and storage management.

- Strong command over routing, VLAN configuration, firewall management (FortiGate, pfSense, Cisco ASA).

- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Shell, Python preferred).

- Advanced knowledge of system security, penetration testing, and infrastructure hardening practices.

- Excellent troubleshooting and leadership skills with a focus on documentation and process improvement.

- Preferred certifications: RHCE, CCNP, VMware VCP, AWS SysOps, CompTIA Network+.
