Senior Lead Engineer/ Developer - Embedded Automotive Platform

We are looking for experienced Automotive Multimedia & Audio professionals to lead and deliver next-generation Digital Cockpit solutions across Linux, QNX, and Android (AAOS) platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Audio, Video, and Camera subsystems for embedded automotive platforms

- Develop and optimize Audio drivers, ALSA/QSA, Audio HAL, Android Audio/Car Audio Framework

- Work across Linux, QNX, and Android stacks including kernel, HAL, framework, and application layers

- Define and implement audio policies, routing, focus handling, and performance KPIs

- Integrate third-party frameworks (e.g., Dolby, DTS) and bring up camera/video pipelines

- Debug and resolve complex multimedia issues using system-level tools

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive delivery across multiple vehicle programs

- Mentor teams, handle escalations, manage risks, and ensure milestone tracking

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Automotive Digital Cockpit Multimedia / Audio domain

- Hands-on expertise in C/C++, Java (Android); scripting (Python/Bash) is a plus

- Deep knowledge of :

1. Linux : ALSA, V4L2, GStreamer

2. QNX : QSA, Multimedia Suite

3. Android / AAOS : Audio HAL, Car Audio Service, Audio Framework, AIDL/HIDL

- Experience with Qualcomm Snapdragon (6/8 series) or similar automotive chipsets

- Solid debugging, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis skills

- Agile experience with tools like JIRA, Git/Gerrit
