Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Azure ML Lead to architect, build, and operationalize an ML-driven supportability model on the Azure Machine Learning platform.

This is a high-impact senior engineering role requiring strong technical depth, advanced analytical capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, supportability, and product teams.

The ideal candidate is a senior technologist who thrives in complex problem-solving and can independently drive ML development, deployment, and supportability improvements.

Job Description :

- 10- 12 years overall experience

- 8+ years relevant hands-on experience in :

1. Azure Machine Learning

2. Data Science & ML Model Development

3. Agent Development

4. Data Modeling

- Engineering / Supportability Investigations

Mandatory Skills :

- Azure Machine Learning (end-to-end pipeline & deployment)

- Machine Learning model development & lifecycle management

- Advanced Data Science & Data Modeling

- Agent development frameworks

- Strong debugging & diagnostics skills for complex issues

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead ML Model Development & Azure ML Deployment :

- Own the end-to-end development of a Support ML Model.

- Train with FY25 & FY26 datasets to ensure predictive accuracy.

- Run PoC evaluation across selected workspaces and refine outputs.

- Build and document a complete Azure ML deployment plan including :

1. Architecture

2. Performance metrics

3. Monitoring mechanisms

4. Rollout strategy

5. Risk mitigation

- Deploy and operationalize the model on the Azure ML platform.

2. Senior Back-Office Engineering Support :

- Act as a technical escalation authority for high-complexity incidents.

- Monitor escalations assigned to escalation advocates and ensure swift traction.

- Manage back-office workstreams through Azure DevOps (ADO).

- Coordinate with CSS frontline, Engineering, and Supportability PMs for faster resolution and engineering alignment.

3. Deep Technical Troubleshooting :

- Lead investigations of critical, complex, and high-impact technical issues.

- Utilize debugging tools, log analysis, reverse engineering, and diagnostic utilities.

- Mentor frontline support teams during complex case resolution.

- Drive engineering-backed solutions to closure.

4. Product Supportability Improvements :

- Identify product gaps, recurring issues, and architectural limitations.

- Recommend meaningful product enhancements, bug fixes, and design improvements.

- Create troubleshooting frameworks, automation scripts, and diagnostic tools.

- Contribute to long-term supportability strategy with Supportability PMs.

5. Trend Analysis & Insight Generation :

- Analyze escalation and incident data to identify :

1. Recurring trends

2. Vulnerabilities

- Design or workflow issues

- Present insights to engineering leadership to influence backlog prioritization and preventive engineering initiatives.
