Description :

- Design, customize, and administer Jira environments to support complex project management and workflow requirements at an enterprise level.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable Jira configurations including custom fields, screens, workflows, and schemes.

- Develop, implement, and maintain automation rules, scripts (Groovy/JavaScript), and Jira plugins to optimize processes and increase system efficiency.

- Integrate Jira with third-party tools and enterprise applications such as Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, ServiceNow, Slack, and others to ensure seamless data flow and collaboration.

- Monitor system performance, scalability, and data integrity; proactively troubleshoot and resolve Jira-related issues to minimize downtime and disruption.

- Implement and enforce user access controls, security schemes, and governance best practices within Jira and the broader Atlassian toolset.

- Provide technical guidance and support to teams on Jira usage, best practices, and customization capabilities.

- Stay updated on Atlassian product updates, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve the Jira ecosystem.

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Jira administration, customization, and development.

- Strong proficiency in Jira configurations, workflows, custom fields, screens, permissions, and schemes.

- Expertise in scripting languages such as Groovy and JavaScript for Jira automation and plugin development.

- Experience integrating Jira with enterprise tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub, CI/CD systems, ServiceNow, Slack, etc.

- Solid understanding of Jira security, user roles, access controls, and governance frameworks.

- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex Jira issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.

- Atlassian certification(s) is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Jira Data Center and performance tuning.

- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments.

- Knowledge of related Atlassian tools and plugin ecosystems.
