Senior Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Architect and develop microservices and RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.

- Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Develop and integrate applications with relational databases and third-party systems.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills :

- 8 - 10 years of experience in Java application development.

- Strong expertise in: Core Java (Java 8/11/17)

i. Spring Boot

ii. Spring MVC

iii. Spring Data JPA/Hibernate

iv. Microservices Architecture

v. RESTful APIs

vi. SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server)

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and Data Structures.

- Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus.

- Exposure to DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
