We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Java Development Manager to lead our engineering teams and drive the development of scalable and robust products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), coupled with a strong background in Agile methodologies and significant experience in people management and team handling within a product-based company.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide strong leadership and strategic direction for multiple Java development teams, ensuring alignment with product vision and business objectives.

- Oversee the architecture, design, and development of high-performance, scalable, and resilient applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Drive the adoption and implementation of SAFe Agile methodologies across development teams, fostering a culture of continuous delivery and improvement.

- Lead the migration, development, and optimization of applications on AWS / GCP cloud platforms.

- Provide expert-level people management and team handling, including mentoring, coaching, performance management, and career development for a large team of engineers.

- Collaborate closely with product management, architects, and other cross-functional leaders to define roadmaps, technical strategies, and delivery timelines.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, code quality, security, and performance.

- Manage project risks, dependencies, and stakeholders effectively to ensure successful product delivery.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in Java, cloud, and agile development.

Requirements :

- 14 - 20 years of progressive experience in software development, with a significant focus on Java technologies.

- Proven experience in a product-based company.

- Expertise in developing and managing applications using Spring Boot framework.

- Extensive experience with Microservices architecture design and implementation.

- Strong practical experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms.

- Mandatory experience with SAFe Agile methodology.

- Demonstrable success in people management and team handling, including managing

managers or multiple large teams.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with various database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
