Role Overview :

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be a key contributor to our development team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-performance, scalable, and robust Java-based applications. You will collaborate closely with architects, product managers, and other developers to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our core financial platforms, ensuring seamless operations for our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-quality, testable, and efficient Java code for new and existing applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment, contributing to the timely delivery of projects.

- Collaborate with architects and other developers to design and implement microservices-based architectures, enhancing the scalability and maintainability of our systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our applications in production environments.

- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development within the team.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools, promoting efficiency and innovation within the team.

Required Skillset :

- Proven ability to design and develop enterprise-level Java applications using J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.

- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software architecture best practices.

- Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL and SQL, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with developing and deploying microservices-based applications, demonstrating a solid understanding of distributed systems.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Adaptability to work on-site in Mumbai.
