Senior Java Developer

Role Overview :

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing high-performance, scalable Java-based applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the user experience and contribute to the overall success of our products by ensuring they are reliable, efficient, and meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java-based software solutions for our core product offerings.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge within the team.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to users.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.

Required Skillset :

- Proven ability to design and develop complex Java applications using Spring and Hibernate frameworks.

- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

- Minimum 8- 10 years of experience in Java development.
