Role Overview:

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications within our dynamic environment. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our core systems, ultimately enhancing the user experience and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure Java-based microservices and APIs to support critical business functions.

- Collaborate with architects to define and enforce architectural patterns and best practices across the development lifecycle.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

- Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments to minimize downtime and maintain system stability.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools to enhance team efficiency and productivity.

- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their technical growth.

Required Skillset:

- Possess 6-12 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level Java applications.

- Demonstrate expertise in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data), and related technologies.

- Exhibit proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

- Showcase experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure, including services like Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Exhibit experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and related branching strategies.

- Possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Adaptable to a hybrid work environment based in Bangalore.
