In this role, you will be a key contributor to our engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, cloud-native microservices.

You will work at the intersection of high-performance Java development and cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, ensuring our systems are resilient, efficient, and ready to scale.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect & Develop : Design and implement high-quality, scalable backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.

- Cloud Integration : Build and deploy microservices specifically tailored for GCP, leveraging managed services to optimize performance.

- API Design : Develop secure, well-documented RESTful APIs that serve as the backbone for our internal and external applications.

- Database Management : Utilize Hibernate for seamless ORM mapping and manage complex data flows across relational and NoSQL environments.

- Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teamsincluding Product, Frontend, and DevOpsto translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Mentorship : Provide technical leadership and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices in coding, testing, and security.

Required Technical Skills :

- Core Java : Advanced proficiency in Java (8+) with a strong grasp of multithreading, collections, and JVM tuning.

- Frameworks : Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.

- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Hands-on experience with :

1. GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)

2. Pub/Sub for event-driven architecture

3. Dataflow for stream and batch processing

4. BigQuery for large-scale data analysis

- Microservices : Proven track record of building and orchestrating microservices architectures.

- API Development : Expertise in designing and consuming REST APIs.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build).

- Familiarity with Unit Testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
