Job Description : Senior Java Developer

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and database technologies, along with good problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices.

- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.

- Contribute to application architecture and technical design discussions.

- Implement security, reliability, and performance best practices.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of professional experience in Java development.

- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8/11/17+.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring MVC.

- Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture.

- Experience developing REST APIs / Web Services.

- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Experience with JPA/Hibernate.

- Familiarity with Maven/Gradle and Git.

- Good understanding of Data Structures, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.

- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit/Mockito.

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

- Exposure to cloud-native application development.

Education :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
