Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 8+, Microservices Architecture, AWS Cloud Services, and modern software development practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure enterprise applications using Java 8+ and related technologies.

- Develop RESTful APIs and Microservices-based applications using Spring Boot and Spring MVC frameworks.

- Implement event-driven and distributed system architectures using Apache Kafka for real-time data processing and communication between services.

- Build cloud-native applications and deploy them on AWS services while ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.

- Design and implement robust backend solutions using object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and best coding practices.

- Work extensively with multithreading and concurrency concepts to optimize application performance and resource utilization.

- Utilize Java Collection Frameworks and Data Structures effectively to develop efficient and optimized solutions.

- Implement comprehensive exception handling, logging, monitoring, and error recovery mechanisms across applications.

- Develop reactive and asynchronous applications using Reactive Programming concepts to improve application responsiveness and scalability.

- Integrate applications with relational databases and write optimized SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.

- Participate in application architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design sessions, and performance tuning activities.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate build, deployment, and release processes using CI/CD pipelines.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.

- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities.

Required Technical Skills :

Java Development :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java 8 or above.

- Excellent understanding of Core Java concepts including OOPs, Collections Framework, Generics, Streams API, Lambda Expressions, and Functional Programming.

- Strong knowledge of Multithreading, Concurrency, Synchronization, and Performance Optimization.

- Experience in implementing robust Exception Handling mechanisms and application logging frameworks.

Spring Framework :

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for developing Microservices.

- Strong knowledge of Spring MVC for web application development.

- Experience in dependency injection, aspect-oriented programming, security, and application configuration using Spring Framework.

- Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

Microservices Architecture :

- Experience in designing and implementing distributed Microservices-based applications.

- Knowledge of service discovery, API gateways, circuit breakers, fault tolerance, and distributed transaction handling.

- Understanding of containerized deployments and cloud-native application development.

AWS Cloud :

- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, API Gateway, and VPC.

- Experience in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining applications in AWS environments.

- Understanding of cloud security, scalability, and cost optimization practices.

Messaging & Event Streaming :

- Strong experience with Apache Kafka.

- Knowledge of Kafka Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions, Consumer Groups, and Message Processing.

- Experience implementing event-driven architectures and asynchronous communication.

Database Management :

- Strong proficiency in SQL and database optimization techniques.

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle Database.

- Experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, indexing, query tuning, and performance optimization.

- Understanding of database design, normalization, and transaction management.

ORM Frameworks :

- Experience with Hibernate and JPA.

- Strong understanding of entity relationships, lazy/eager loading, caching, and ORM best practices.

DevOps & Containerization :

- Experience with Docker for containerization and application deployment.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

- Hands-on experience with GitHub for source code management and version control.

Testing :

- Experience in Unit Testing using JUnit and Mockito.

- Ability to write automated test cases and maintain high code coverage.

- Experience with integration testing and test-driven development practices is preferred.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Typically 5+ years of experience in Java application development.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within distributed teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.

- Exposure to Security best practices, OAuth2, JWT, and API Security
