Job Description :
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Product Strategy & Vision : Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine technology product vision, roadmap and strategy. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
- Backlog Management : Translate product vision into actionable tasks in the backlog. Prioritize and manage product backlog by working closely with product, engineering, UX/UI and business teams. Break down high-level features into actionable user stories that are well-defined, clear and technically feasible.
- Requirements Gathering : Work with business teams and customers to gather, analyze and document technical requirements which can be translated into technical specifications for development teams.
- Understands the product outcome and benefits to customers, to the market, to the business. Also the agile development processes and organization way of working
- Gather functional requirements and conceptualize features that meet customer needs Ensure non-functional requirements are taken into consideration as well
- Leads the product definition in collaboration with the scrum master and development team (UI/UX team, architecture, engineering, business analyst) including other relevant inputs that may affect the scope of the product (medical affairs, data security, data privacy and legal)
- Owns and facilitates features and user story refinement and planning sessions
- Manages the team product backlog and prioritization of user stories, ensuring the product backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all
- Ensure the team is focused on developing the deliverables that provide the optimum value for the user and the business
- Approves product increments on sprint reviews, and acceptance of final iteration plan.
- Accountable for the definition of done as well as the acceptance
- Leads the product development team(s) and guides implementation
- Responsible for the team vision, product roadmap and release plan, in close collaboration with other relevant teams and the Agile Release Train
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams : Active engagement with the engineering teams to ensure that technical requirements are met. Participate in sprint ceremonies sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives.
- Stakeholder communication : Serve as a liaison between the business stakeholders and engineering team communicating progress, risks and dependencies clearly and regularly.
- Pricing Quality Assurance : Ensure products meet the required technical standards and business requirements through rigorous testing and validation processes. Support teams by providing acceptable success criteria.
- Customer-centric Approach : Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure that pricing solution and experiences optimized keeping the customer and store team members in mind.
- Release scheduling : Define product release schedules in co-ordination with stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that features are delivered in. timely manner.
- Continuous Improvement : Foster a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating closely with stakeholders and development teams to improve processes, tools and workflows.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years experience as a Product owner, Technical Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst.
- Solid understanding of software development processes, cloud platforms and systems architecture. Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures is a bonus.
- Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies Scrum, kanban and development tools Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language to effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to help review, analyze, prioritize competing items, challenges and dependencies
- Solid collaboration skills with experience in relation building, conflict resolution, negotiation and consensus building skills. Experience with stakeholder and vendor management.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring highly performant engineering teams.
- Working knowledge of the retail industry and pricing domain is a bonus.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering or related field.
