Senior IT Manager

Key Responsibilities :

IT Strategy & Leadership :

- Define and execute IT strategy aligned with organizational objectives.

- Lead, mentor, and manage IT teams including infrastructure, applications, support, and security.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives, system modernization, and process automation.

- Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, licensing, and procurement.

Infrastructure & Systems Management :

- Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.

- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems.

- Manage data centers, cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP), and hybrid infrastructures.

- Establish and enforce IT policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.

Application & Software Management :

- Manage enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, and custom-built systems.

- Oversee application development, deployment, upgrades, and maintenance.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions.

- Ensure application security, performance optimization, and system integrations.

Cybersecurity & Compliance :

- Define and implement IT security policies, controls, and best practices.

- Manage cybersecurity initiatives including network security, endpoint protection, and data security.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, audits, and regulatory requirements (ISO, SOC, GDPR, etc.).

- Lead incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Service Delivery & Operations :

- Ensure high-quality IT service delivery and adherence to SLAs.

- Manage IT service management processes (ITIL-based) including incident, problem, and change management.

- Implement monitoring, automation, and proactive maintenance processes.

- Lead vendor and third-party service provider management.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as a trusted technology advisor to senior leadership and business teams.

- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to support business operations.

- Present IT roadmaps, performance metrics, and risk assessments to leadership.

Technical Skills & Competencies :

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and system architecture.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Expertise in enterprise applications, ERP systems, and integrations.

- Solid understanding of databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

- Experience with cybersecurity tools, frameworks, and best practices.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.

- Proficiency in IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL processes.
