About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Professional to lead, scale, and secure our technology landscape. The role requires a seasoned leader to oversee infrastructure operations, information security, compliance, audits, cloud & on-premise systems, data governance, and networking while enabling business agility, resilience, and regulatory compliance.

Location : Andheri West, Mumbai, India

Reporting To : Head of IT Infrastructure

Team Size : ~15 (Infra, Network, Security, Support & Cloud Ops)

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Infrastructure & Operations :

- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network, cloud, endpoints).

- Manage hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem), including Linux/Unix and Windows servers.

- Ensure 24x7 availability, scalability, and performance of production systems.

- Implement ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.

- Capacity planning, cost optimization, vendor & AMC management.

2. Compliance :

- Ensure compliance with RBI, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR (if applicable).

- Closure of VAPT findings related to infrastructure.

- Patch management and disaster recovery drills.

- Implement new guidelines released by regulators.

3. Networking & Connectivity :

- Manage enterprise-wide LAN/WAN, VPNs, SD-WAN, firewalls, proxies, and load balancers.

- Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and monitoring of connectivity across branches, data centers, and cloud platforms.

- Define network segmentation, zero-trust frameworks, and security zoning.

4. Cloud & On-Premise Platform Management :

- Drive cloud strategy (AWS/Azure/GCP) with focus on cost efficiency and resilience.

- Oversee containerization, Kubernetes clusters, and DevOps pipelines (with engineering teams).

- Define backup, DR, and BCP solutions across workloads.

- Manage backup, restoration, and reporting of VMs and databases.

5. Governance, Risk & Audits :

- Prepare and lead internal & external audits (ISO, RBI, PCI-DSS, SOC2).

- Implement IT GRC processes and track audit remediation.

- Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure.

6. Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor teams across IT Ops, Networking, Security, Support & Admin.

- Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence.

- Develop training programs for infra/security awareness across employees.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.

- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNP, AWS/Azure Cloud Architect, ITIL, ISO 27001 LA.

- 12-18 years of IT Infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Proven track record in Fintech, BFSI, or other regulated industries.

Technical Expertise :

- Linux/Unix, Windows Servers, Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).

- Networking (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper).

- Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Security tools (SIEM, DLP, IAM, Endpoint Protection, SOC Ops).

- Database infrastructure (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL).

- ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Jira/Remedy).

Skills :

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation.

- Excellent knowledge of IT governance frameworks.

- Ability to balance cost optimization with performance and security.
