Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Sr. IT Engineer (AV-VC Services) to oversee, manage, and support Audio-Visual and Video Conferencing infrastructure within the organization. This role involves end-to-end management of AV-VC systems, ensuring seamless communication, high availability, and superior user experience. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in enterprise AV-VC solutions, networking fundamentals, incident management, and IT security practices.
Key Responsibilities :
AV-VC Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee conference room equipment such as cameras, microphones, speaker systems, control panels, and display units.
- Ensure smooth functioning of hybrid meetings, boardroom sessions, live events, and critical communication setups.
Operations & Troubleshooting:
- Monitor AV-VC systems, networks, and hardware for performance and reliability.
- Provide L2/L3 support for AV-VC incidents, including real-time troubleshooting during meetings and events.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to connectivity, audio quality, video quality, codecs, and user access.
Network & Security Coordination:
- Work closely with the network and IT security teams to ensure secure and optimized AV-VC traffic flow.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, encryption requirements, and access control rules.
- Support configuration of VLANs, QoS, and bandwidth allocation for AV-VC systems.
Maintenance & Upgrades
- Perform preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, and system health audits for AV-VC infrastructure.
- Assess and recommend upgrades or enhancements to improve system performance and user experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, SOPs, and AV-VC inventories.
User Support & Training
- Assist senior management, board members, and internal teams during high-priority meetings.
- Conduct user-training sessions on AV-VC tools and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support events and organizational initiatives.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and AV integrators for installation, support, and escalations.
- Manage AMC, warranty, and service agreements related to AV-VC equipment and software.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or similar field.
- 6 to 15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management with strong exposure to AV-VC systems.
- CCNA (Global) or OEM-specific certifications (Polycom, Crestron, Cisco, Zoom Rooms, etc.) or any recognized Networking & IT Security Management Certification.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise VC platforms and AV-integrated rooms.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, QoS, IP, DHCP, DNS, SIP, H.323).
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience supporting C-level/Boardroom AV-VC operations.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
- Familiarity with Digital Signage, Video Walls, and Event-Management AV setups
