Position Overview :

- The Senior Manager IT Development is responsible for assisting in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the organizations business applications and digital platforms.

- The role supports the IT Development Manager in ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements, align with regulatory and compliance obligations (including RBI guidelines), and adhere to industry best practices.

- The position involves overseeing development teams, managing internal and external vendors, driving software project lifecycles, and ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient application development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assist the IT Development Manager in leading the application development function and ensuring delivery of projects as per business priorities.

- Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

- Proficiency in software development - Strong knowledge of Java

- Experience in Agile, DevOps, or Waterfall methodologies

- Expertise in backend services and web development

- Familiarity with mobile development

- Prior experience in team management and leadership

- Support the operation of technical system landscapes

- Deliver high quality and ensure stable operations

- Identify top issues, define action plan, and drive the resolution process.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions

- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules

- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues

- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams

- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones

- Responsible for project budget and resource management

- Regularly communicate project status to stakeholders

- Manage technologies and provide administrative assistance for various systems - Understand various IT troubleshooting and provide technical support - Control and monitor data, network access, and backup systems

- Negotiate and communicate with third-party software providers for new software and troubleshooting

- Build and mentor a high-performing and innovative IT team.

- Oversee IT budgets and vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective delivery.

- Drive adoption of IoT, AI, and analytics to enhance manufacturing operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver tech solutions.

- Mitigate IT risks and maintain disaster recovery/business continuity plans.

- Oversee application architecture design, development standards, and secure coding

- Ensure alignment of all development projects with RBIs IT guidelines, information security policies, and internal compliance requirements.

- Manage development teams and vendor resources for in-house and outsource.

- Support integration of applications with core systems, APIs, middleware, and third-party.

- Ensure version control, release management, and proper documentation of all
