- Design, develop, and manage RESTful APIs to support CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments transactions and integrations with various financial systems, including wallets, payment platforms, and other third-party applications.

- API Lifecycle Management : Manage the entire API lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, versioning, and retirement, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

- Security and Compliance : Implement robust security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption, to protect CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments transactions and data, complying with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

- Backend Integration : Integrate APIs with various backend systems, such as databases, payment gateways, and cloud services, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

- Documentation and Support : Document API specifications using Open API/Swagger and provide technical support to developers and users, ensuring clarity and ease of use.

- Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with architects, backend developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall system requirements.

- Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Monitor API performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure stability and reliability.

- Programming Skills : Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of experience

- API Development Experience : Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs using tools and frameworks such as Open API/Swagger, JSON, and XML.

- Security Expertise : Strong understanding of API security protocols, including OAuth, JWT, and other authentication methods, as well as encryption and data protection techniques.

- Backend Integration : Experience with backend integration using databases, web services, and cloud services, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

- CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments Knowledge : Understanding CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments concepts, architecture, and integration requirements.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with specific CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments implementations or technologies (e.g., blockchain, distributed ledger technology).

- Familiarity with API management platforms such as Apigee or MuleSoft.

- Experience with data transformation and ETL processes.

- Experience with microservices and serverless architectures.
