About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Developer with 5- 7 years of relevant professional experience and a deep technical focus on the SAP Integration Suite (CPI/HCI), specifically for a remote project lasting 3+ months. This role is critical for designing, developing, and maintaining complex integration flows, leveraging Groovy scripting and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) services to connect enterprise systems with modern cloud solutions.

Responsibilities :

- CPI Iflow Design and Development : Design, develop, and implement complex SAP CPI Iflows (Integration Flows) from detailed technical specifications to production deployment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to established standards.

- Scripting and Connectors : Utilize strong expertise in Groovy Scripts for custom logic, dynamic routing, and data manipulation within Iflows, and leverage Open Connectors for streamlined third-party application integration.

- API Development and Management : Design and develop secure APIs and integration endpoints, implementing governance via SAP API Management to control access, traffic, and security policies.

- Protocol and Security : Apply strong knowledge of various integration protocols (HTTPS, REST, JDBC, SFTP) and secure API constructs, including SSL certificates, Keystores, and OAuth, ensuring secure data transmission.

- Technical Integration Concepts : Demonstrate expertise in key web service and API constructs, including REST, JSON, OData, SOAP, and XML structure and validation.

- BTP Service Utilization : Implement solutions utilizing core SAP BTP services, including SAP BTP Event Mesh for asynchronous, event-driven integrations and managing connectivity via the Cloud Connector.

- SAP Backend Configuration : Apply knowledge of essential SAP ABAP configurations related to integration, including SOAMANAGER, RFC, HTTP, and Event Enablement settings, to ensure seamless communication with SAP systems.

- Process Knowledge : Apply functional process knowledge across key business domains: Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Make-to-Deploy (M2D), and Financial (FI) areas.

- Testing and CI/CD : Utilize API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI, or Insomnia for validation, and contribute to the implementation of DevOps principles and CI/CD processes using tools like Azure DevOps & Git.

Required Skill Set (Mandatory Skills) :

- Integration Experience : 5- 7 years overall professional experience, with 3 years minimum focused technical experience on the SAP Integration Suite (CPI/HCI).

- Scripting and Connectors : Strong expertise in Groovy Scripts and practical experience utilizing Open Connectors.

- BTP/API Management : Hands-on experience with SAP API Management and SAP BTP Event Mesh integration patterns.

- Protocols and Security : Proven knowledge of Forward/Reverse Proxy concepts, SSL certificates, Keystores, and OAuth.

- ABAP Integration Knowledge : Knowledge on the SAP ABAP configurations related to Integration, including SOAMANAGER, RFC, HTTP, and Event Enablement.

- Development Constructs : Demonstrated experience designing and developing Iflows using REST, JSON, OData, SOAP, and XML.

- Testing and DevOps : Skilled in the use of API testing tools and a good understanding of DevOps principles and Git/Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills :

- PI to CPI Migration : Practical experience porting existing SAP PI interfaces to CPI.

- ABAP Programming : Programming experience with ABAP (on S/4HANA) is highly preferred.

- Certification : Relevant SAP CPI or BTP certifications.
