About the Role :

Velodata Global Pvt Ltd is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Trivandrum. This is a crucial, hands-on role for a professional with deep expertise in Palo Alto and advanced skills across network and cloud infrastructure. You'll be vital in managing and enhancing our high-availability, enterprise-grade environments, particularly within the demanding Banking/Credit Union domains. Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Infrastructure Projects : Take the lead on complex infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on Palo Alto, Cisco ACI, and Cisco UCS.

- Micro-segmentation Implementation : Design and implement robust micro-segmentation solutions using technologies like Cisco ACI or VMware NSX.

- Cloud & Identity Management : Manage and optimize cloud-based networking within Microsoft Azure, alongside advanced identity services such as ADFS, SAML, and Conditional Access.

- Infrastructure Automation : Drive automation of infrastructure processes using powerful tools like PowerShell, Python, Puppet/Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.

- Operations Oversight : Oversee critical operational processes, including patching, vulnerability management, and ITSM (IT Service Management), ensuring stability and security.

Required Skill Set :

- Palo Alto Expertise : Must-have in-depth experience with Palo Alto firewall solutions.

- Cisco Networking : Strong proficiency in Cisco ACI, Nexus/Catalyst switches, and AVI Load Balancer.

- Storage Technologies : Hands-on experience with Pure Storage and Cohesity.

- Cloud & Security : Solid understanding and experience with Microsoft Azure, Federated Identity Management, and Conditional Access policies.

- Scripting & Infra-as-Code : Proven ability in scripting languages and Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, and similar.

- Certifications : Possess relevant industry certifications such as CCT (Cisco Certified Technician), VCA (VMware Certified Associate), MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), or equivalent.

- Domain Experience : Prior experience working in the Banking or Credit Union domains is highly preferred.
