Job Description :

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in leading, implementing, and managing complex infrastructure projects. This hands-on position demands a deep understanding of network security, cloud networking, and automation, specifically within an enterprise context. You will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Project Leadership & Implementation : Lead and execute significant infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on Palo Alto security solutions, Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), and Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System).

- Micro-segmentation : Design and implement robust micro-segmentation strategies leveraging technologies such as Cisco ACI or VMware NSX to enhance network security and reduce attack surfaces.

- Cloud & Identity Management : Manage and optimize cloud-based networking solutions within Microsoft Azure. Oversee and configure federated identity services, including ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services), SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language), and Azure Conditional Access policies.

- Infrastructure Automation : Develop and implement automation for infrastructure processes using scripting languages and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as PowerShell, Python, Puppet/Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.

- Security & Compliance : Oversee patching cycles, vulnerability management programs, and ensure adherence to ITSM (IT Service Management) processes to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure.

- System Monitoring & Maintenance : Proactively monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of all systems.

Required Skill Set (All Mandatory) :

Network Security :

- Palo Alto Expertise : Must-have in-depth hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (configuration, management, troubleshooting, policy creation, VPN, etc.).

Cisco Networking :

- Strong proficiency with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure).

- Extensive experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst series switches.

- Experience with AVI Load Balancer (formerly Velocloud).

Storage :

- Practical experience with Pure Storage solutions.

- Familiarity with Cohesity data management solutions.

Cloud & Security :

- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Azure networking and infrastructure services.

- Expertise in Federated Identity management, including ADFS, SAML, and Azure Conditional Access.

Scripting & Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) :

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.

- Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible (experience with Puppet/Chef is a plus).

Certifications :

- Relevant industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Technician (CCT), VMware Certified Associate (VCA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or similar.

Domain Experience :

- Prior experience working in the Banking or Credit Union domains is highly preferred.
