Senior Infrastructure Consultant - Virtualization/Networking

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant to lead the assessment, design, deployment, and optimization of complex enterprise IT infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in virtualization, networking, cloud platforms, and automation, with a proven track record of ensuring infrastructure resilience, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement enterprise virtualization solutions using VMware and Hyper-V.

- Lead advanced networking configuration and troubleshooting, including routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and Cisco IOS administration.

- Plan and execute infrastructure solutions in AWS and/or Azure, with a focus on IaaS and PaaS environments.

- Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.

- Establish and maintain monitoring and diagnostics using tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, or similar platforms.

- Develop and maintain robust Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP), including RPO and RTO definitions and the automation of backup and recovery processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of infrastructure with business needs and compliance standards.

- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and operational procedures.

Core Technical Skills :

- Networking : Advanced skills in routing/switching, VLANs, VPNs, and Cisco IOS (preferably CCNP-level).

- Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure (IaaS/PaaS design & operations).

- Automation & Scripting : Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash.

- Monitoring & Diagnostics : Experience with SolarWinds, Splunk, or equivalent platforms.

- Disaster Recovery/BCP : Proven ability to define RPO/RTO and automate backup and recovery processes.

Preferred Certifications :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert

- ITIL v4 Foundation
