Senior Informatica Developer - ETL/SQL

Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Informatica Developer to join our data engineering team for a critical 6-month project.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building robust ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter and a deep understanding of data warehousing architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter for efficient data processing and transformation.

- Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and design scalable, optimized solutions.

- Handle large-scale data volumes, ensuring high performance and accurate data transformations across different sources and targets.

- Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and complex data transformations to ensure data quality and integrity.

- Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL workflows to improve performance and scalability.

- Work with SQL and Unix/Linux Shell scripting to write complex queries, scripts, and automate ETL processes.

- Maintain and manage data warehousing architecture for data integration, storage, and access.

- Document ETL processes, workflows, and technical specifications for knowledge sharing and future reference.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in data engineering, ETL design, and data governance.

- Provide support for testing, debugging, and performance tuning of ETL jobs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in ETL development with Informatica PowerCenter.

- Strong proficiency in SQL for complex queries and data manipulation.

- Solid experience with Unix/Linux Shell scripting for automation of ETL tasks and troubleshooting.

- Proven track record of handling large-scale data volumes and designing complex data transformations.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down and solve complex technical challenges.

- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a remote work environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have :

- Experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS) for cloud-based ETL processes.

- Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with data solutions.

- Knowledge of Data Quality tools to ensure data accuracy and integrity across the pipeline.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies for efficient project delivery and collaboration.

- Industry experience in Banking, Healthcare, or Retail sectors is highly desirable.
