Role : Senior Informatica Developer

Role Overview :

Were seeking an accomplished cloud Informatica Developer (IICS)to join our data engineering team. Youll be responsible for end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of ETL/data integration solutions using Informatica IICS/IDMC, and modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and traditional data systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and Data Warehouses. Your role will play a critical part in data migration, governance, analytics enablement, and empowering enterprise-wide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IICS/IDMC.

- Lead enterprise-scale data migration initiatives into Snowflake or traditional data systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and Data Warehouses, migrating complex workflows with minimal disruption.

- Build modular, scalable pipeline architectures (Landing, Staging, Curated, Conformed layers) supporting data governance and reusability.

- Conduct data profiling and quality checkstroubleshooting issues, conducting validation, and ensuring data integrity.

- Optimize workflow performance and enable efficient reuse of mappings/tasks.

- Collaborate closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate outputs, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

- Participate in all phasesfrom requirement analysis through testing (SIT/UAT) and production deployment.

- Create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation: data mappings, workflows, design specs, and test cases.

- (Optional/Preferred) Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and work with REST APIs or Databricks integration.

- Adhere to, and advocate for, best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.

- Ensure non-functional requirements are met, including secure data handling, reconciliation of processed data, and support for audit-friendly reporting mechanisms.

Qualifications & Skills :

Required :

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on ETL/Informatica IICS/IDMC development experience.

- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with relational DBs (Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake).

- Demonstrated experience in data migration to warehouses (e.g. Snowflake).

- Solid understanding of data warehousing, star schema, and modern ETL architecture patterns.

- Excellent problem-solving, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration abilities.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have :

- Familiarity with cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M), CI/CD, scripting (Python, Unix shell), REST APIs, JSON/XML.

- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management (e.g., EDC, Axon), or data quality tools.

- Prior background in the insurance, banking, or financial services domain is a plus.
