Senior IBM Developer - IIB/App Connect

Job Summary :

You will work closely with architects, business analysts, and other developers to design robust, scalable solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and manage APIs using IBM API Connect and expose backend services securely.

- Build and maintain message flows, ESQL logic, and web service integrations.

- Work with IBM MQ for reliable messaging between distributed systems.

- Configure and manage applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server.

- Ensure solutions follow best practices in security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Infrastructure) to deploy and monitor solutions.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.

- Participate in code reviews, solution design, and technical planning.

- Maintain documentation of integration flows, APIs, and technical decisions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

- Proficient in ESQL, XSLT, SOAP/REST, XML, JSON, and WSDL.

- Hands-on experience with IBM API Connect - API creation, security, gateway policies, and analytics.

- In-depth knowledge of IBM MQ, including queue management, message handling, and security.

- Solid understanding of SOA, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architecture.

- Experience in working with WebSphere Application Server.

- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
