Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Guidewire Integration Developer with mandatory hands-on experience in Guidewire Integration Gateway (IGW) to drive the development, modernization, and cloud transformation of critical system interfaces.

You will be a key contributor to a high-impact InsuranceSuite Cloud Migration Program, developing robust integration services between Guidewire applications and external systems using best practices in performance, scalability, security, and compliance.

This role demands a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, API design, event-driven systems, and Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own the design, development, and deployment of integration services using Guidewire IGW for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter cloud applications.

- Lead modernization of legacy GOSU-based integrations to microservices-based, containerized, and cloud-compliant interfaces.

- Develop secure, scalable APIs using IGW, REST, JSON, GraphQL, and other standard protocols aligned with GWCPs integration patterns.

- Collaborate with product architects, cloud engineers, and delivery leads to define interface strategy aligned with business requirements and cloud adoption goals.

- Ensure integrations meet Guidewire Cloud Assurance guidelines for observability, logging, performance, and security.

- Work with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for interface services using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.

- Utilize Kafka or similar messaging systems for building event-driven interfaces and real-time data exchange.

- Guide and mentor mid-level developers in IGW, best practices, and migration standards.

- Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to standards, and contribute to technical governance processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 610 years of experience in Guidewire integration development, including at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Integration Gateway (IGW).

- Proven expertise in integrating external/internal APIs with Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

- Strong understanding of Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP), Cloud APIs, Cloud Data Access (CDA), Edge APIs, and vendor connectors.

- Solid grasp of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-first development principles.

Proficiency in :

- RESTful and SOAP web services

- JSON, XML

- OAuth2.0, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms

- Event streaming tools like Kafka or AWS EventBridge

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation in cloud environments.

- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments preferred.

- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and usage of tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub/GitLab.
