Responsibilities :


As a Senior Google Cloud Platform Engineer, you will :


- Lead the research, evaluation, design, development, testing, operational maintenance, protection, and support of technology assets throughout their lifecycle, with a focus on Google Cloud infrastructure.


- Lead the research, evaluation, design, testing, implementation, maintenance, performance and capacity tuning, and support of third-party infrastructures, applications, and appliances.


- Lead the research, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and support of storage and back-up recovery solutions within the cloud environment.


- Be responsible for the research, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and support of an Information Services (IS) security model for the client's IS environments.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and secure cloud solutions.


Mandatory Skills :


- 8-12 years of experience in IT with a strong focus on cloud platforms.


- Extensive experience with Google Cloud infrastructure, including its security and compliance features.


- Proven expertise with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Kubernetes.


- In-depth experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.


- Strong understanding of public Cloud Architecture and solutions (Google Cloud specifically, with knowledge of Azure, IBM, and/or AWS being beneficial).


Minimum Qualifications :


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent education and work experience with Google Cloud.


- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell programming/scripting.


- Excellent time and project management skills.


- Demonstrated influencing skills.


- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.


- Strong process analysis capabilities.


Desired Skills :


- Experience with Azure, IBM, or AWS Cloud platforms.


- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.


- Knowledge of logging solutions like Loki.
