Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute functional and regression test cases for web and API applications

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, PyTest, TestNG, or JUnit

- Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman and REST Assured

- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to understand requirements and provide testing inputs

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster feedback

- Execute SQL queries for backend data validation and ensure data integrity

- Participate in defect triage meetings and work closely with developers to resolve issues

- Maintain test documentation including test cases, test plans, and test results

- Support BDD framework implementation and collaborate using tools like Jenkins and JIRA

- Perform cloud testing and understand test environments hosted on cloud platforms (bonus)

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in functional and automation testing

- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, PyTest, TestNG, or JUnit

- Expertise in API testing using Postman and REST Assured

- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies

- Proficient in SQL for data validation

- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams with tools like JIRA and Jenkins

Preferred/Bonus Skills :

- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber

- Exposure to cloud testing environments and tools

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
