Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer who can take complete ownership of feature development across the stack. In this role, you will work on TartanHQs HR and payroll platform, designing scalable backend systems while also building intuitive, high-performance frontend experiences.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and QA teams, and will be responsible for delivering end-to-end featuresfrom concept to deployment. Strong expertise in Python-based backend frameworks and modern frontend frameworks like React/Next.js is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop backend APIs and implement frontend interfaces for new features

- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives (2-week sprints)

- Conduct and contribute to code reviews and technical discussions

- Debug, test, and optimize applications across environments

- Collaborate with product teams to refine requirements and deliverables

- Work across the entire stackowning features from design to deployment

- Design and build scalable RESTful APIs using Django, FastAPI, or Flask

- Develop and optimize relational database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL)

- Ensure security through authentication, authorization, and best practices

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable backend code

- Manage deployments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines

- Build responsive and high-performance user interfaces using React or Next.js with TypeScript

- Implement state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API)

- Develop pixel-perfect UI components using Tailwind CSS or CSS-in-JS

- Optimize performance metrics including Core Web Vitals

- Write unit and integration tests using Jest, Cypress, or similar tools

- Review code to ensure quality, scalability, and consistency

- Collaborate with QA for comprehensive test coverage

- Follow design-driven development practices

- Maintain clear documentation for APIs and frontend components

What were looking for :

- 4-7 years of hands-on experience in full stack development

- Strong expertise in Python (Django, FastAPI, or Flask)

- Strong expertise in React or Next.js with TypeScript

- Solid understanding of frontend state management patterns

- Strong database skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL)

- Deep understanding of REST API design principles

- Proficiency in responsive UI development and modern CSS frameworks

- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)

- Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Skills :

- Experience integrating AI/ML models into applications

- Familiarity with GraphQL or similar technologies

- Knowledge of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG)

- Experience building design systems or reusable component libraries

- Strong understanding of performance optimization and web performance tools
