Senior Full Stack Engineer - Node.js/React.js

Responsibilities :

- Design and build scalable, secure backend systems using Node.js, React.js,Next.js (API layer), and microservices architecture

- Lead the development of complex features and own them end-to-end from requirements to release and monitoring

- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA, DevOps, and frontend/mobile engineers to deliver seamless customer experiences

- Implement robust data models, APIs, and integrations with banking systems, credit bureaus, cloud infrastructure, and internal services

- Optimize application performance and ensure system availability, latency, security, and quality across the stack

- Mentor and support mid and junior engineers, performing thoughtful code reviews and sharing best practices

- Drive engineering excellence by promoting clean architecture, domain-driven design, observability, and testing culture

- Contribute to technical planning, estimation, and decision-making in agile sprints

Requirements :

- 6- 8 years of backend development experience in agile, high-growth product environments

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Node.js, with strong command of asynchronous programming, performance optimization, and API frameworks

- Experience with Next.js API routes, Express.js, or similar frameworks

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, message queues, and caching (Redis, etc.)

- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and data modeling for scale

- Experience building cloud-native services and working with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred)

- Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills with a product-oriented mindset

- Comfortable working in scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross-functional rituals

- A sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and take initiative
