The Job :

Our client is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our clients engineering team. This is a hands-on technical role focused on designing, building, and scaling core platform features using Node.js, React.js, and AWS.

You will work across the stack - building APIs, integrating cloud services, and crafting responsive frontend components - while leading best practices in code quality, architecture, and performance. Youll also guide and mentor other developers, helping shape engineering standards and processes as the platform grows.

Responsibilities :

- Designing and building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with Node.js

- Architecting, developing, and maintaining frontend features using React.js

- Developing integrations with Shopify and other eCommerce platforms, including custom apps, storefront features, and third-party APIs

- Integrating and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, CDK)

- Translating business requirements into technical deliverables and JIRA tasks

- Reviewing pull requests, setting coding standards, and ensuring best practices

- Debugging, diagnosing, and resolving production issues in collaboration with the support team

- Improving engineering workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices

- Mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical decision-making

- Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to define feature roadmaps and technical solutions

Ideal Candidate :

- You have 5+ years of professional experience as a full stack or backend developer

- You have strong proficiency in Node.js, building RESTful APIs, and backend systems at scale

- You have production experience with React.js and Typescript for frontend development

- You are confident working with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and CDK

- You are experienced with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

- You have worked in high-growth SaaS, eCommerce, or startup environments and thrive in fast-paced settings

- You have hands-on experience with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms and understand online retail workflows

- You have experience mentoring developers and contributing to architecture decisions

- You are an excellent communicator and comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
