Senior Full Stack Developer - Node.js/TypeScript

Key Responsibilities :

- Participate in requirement-gathering discussions with product and business teams to understand functional needs.

- Convert requirements into detailed low-level technical designs, including UI flows, backend functions, APIs, and database models.

- Develop high-quality, scalable code for front-end and back-end features using JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Build reusable UI components and implement application logic aligned with design specifications.

- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and data processing modules.

- Write and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability and quality.

- Prepare documentation for developed functionalities, APIs, and technical processes.

- Manage code versioning, deployments, and repository maintenance.

- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features, including monitoring performance and addressing production issues.

- Investigate and resolve production defects, implement fixes, and perform unit testing of resolutions.

- Create detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for critical issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of features and smooth release cycles.

- Leverage cloud services (AWS/GCP) for deployments, resource management, and application optimization.

- Work with AI/ML tools, third-party APIs, and fintech-specific technologies as required.

- Ensure best practices in coding, security, performance, and maintainability.

Key Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 4 to 6 years of proven full-stack development experience, preferably in fintech or related domains.

- Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Strong experience in building backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.

- Skilled in designing low-level technical components, including data models, service logic, and integrations.

- Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.

- Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms like AWS or GCP for deployments, resource management, and optimization.

- Experience with microservices architecture, message queues, and event-driven backend systems.

- Ability to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend modules.

- Skilled in using ORM/ODM frameworks such as Sequelize, TypeORM, Prisma, or Mongoose.

- Experience in requirement analysis, converting functional needs into low-level technical designs and data models.

- Proficiency in developing front-end components and backend services.

- Experience working directly with AWS, GCP, or other cloud environments.

- Familiarity with AI/ML services, fintech APIs, and modern technology stacks.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and production-support skills.
